2023 SUPER GRANT WINNER - $5,000
LET'S GET FIT
Jerrod Watson - Greenwood High School
This project is using a product called DC Blocks. They are 6 inch tall stackable blocks that will be used for olympic style weight lifting, single leg exercises, plyometric work, and countless other uses. Will be incorporated into program at least twice and will add safety and versatility to our program.

EVERYTHING AT TARGET - $550.24
Shellee Bruner- Westwood Elementary
Funds will create a learning environment where students can act out real life situations and use hands on components (example: Coffee Shop, Flower Shop, and Farmer's Marker) based on the skill(s) being taught in math, reading and writing development. This project will give students an opportunity to learn in a developmentally appropriate way without compromising the alignment of kindergarten standards.

ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL - $1,171.86
Ashely Bartlett, Maria Harding, & Emily Ott- Westwood Elementary
Funds will be used to acquire supplies that allow students to have more opportunities to learn in an environment that is best suited for their learning style. The materials would be used on a daily basis to make the classroom more accessible to all learning styles and behaviors. These supplies will be able to be used with each general education class and in the special education classroom for years to come.

STREAM SMARTER NOT HARDER - $2,386.55
David Dean - Greenwood Middle School
Funds will be used to acquire equipment that will help livestream events in the gymnasium, do live interviews from different classrooms at the same time, and even add more interesting segments to our news show. The grant award will help simplify our workflow and as video projects are simplified, it will also make it easier to teach new students in the future how to produce the News Show and livestream of a sporting event.

BEAVER BROADCAST - $2,031.42
Laura Smith & Elly Abel- Northeast Elementary
Funds will be used to acquire equipment that will help livestream events in the gymnasium, do live interviews from different classrooms at the same time, and even add more interesting segments to our news show. TOOLS FOR ENGAGEMENT - $597.23
Laura Kuntz- Greenwood High School
Funds would be used to purchase physical, hands-on, materials to allow students to engage in the classroom content on a deeper level. This includes the purchase of materials to create a physical representation of a novel setting (dough, tower blocks etc.), Breakout Edu kit and subscritption, and a set of graphic novels.

LET'S GO LEGO - $2,201.40
Abby Warmoth - Isom Elementary
Funds will be used to purchase 5 Lego SPIKE Essential kits that include a large set of Lego bricks and intelligent hardware. The BricQ Motion set is an add on that will give additional lessons to explore more force and motion topics in relation to sports and physical activity.
