FALL 2024 Grant Winners

Archery for All - $699.72
Ryan Macy- Northeast
This project will bring archery to the whole school, it is currently only available to 4-5 graders because of the equipment and safety issues.

FEMININE EQUITY - $1,331.84
Stephanie Senac- Greenwood High School
This project will provide dispensers in two locations furthest away from the nurse's office in the HS so that female students have adequate access to tampons and pads.

FULL STEAM AHEAD LEGO CLUB - $2,399.70
Erin Kaelin- Greenwood Middle School
Funds will be used to get the materials necessary to start a Lego Club at GMS.

KINDER-GARDEN - $301.49
Steve Corbin - Southwest Elementary
This project will be integrated into a long term collaboration with the HS nutrition and diet therapy classes, funds will be used to get the materials to plant and maintain a garden.

OUR CULINARY QUEST- $2,556.48
Regan Berry, Natalie Raleigh, & Lauren Pendleton- Greenwood Middle School
The funds will be used to purchase kitchen utensils and goods for the QUEST program

THE GRATITUDE GROUP GROWS AND GLOWS - $404.12
Jessica Schwab- Greenwood Middle School
This project will allow members of the Gratitude Group to grow by helping others glow. Grant funds will be used to make and distribute gratitude boxes.

EXPLORING THE WORLD - $2,974.50
Patrick Hagerty- Greenwood High School
This project will provide funds that will launch an annual trip to Chicago for students to experience the arts.

CAUGHT-CHA COINS - $1,444.95
Faith Stapleton & Anne Rhinehart- Greenwood High School
The project involves a reward system for reading and other positive behaviors witnessed in the IMC. Funds will be used to acquire rewards and items for students to select when their positive behaviors have been acknowledged.

OUR OVERALL SPIRIT - $1,000
Emma Garder & Gillian Semmler - Greenwood High School Woodmen Way Grant
The idea is to build school spirit in an all inclusive way. Funds will be used to get green and gold bib overalls that will be shared in the student section of activities and games. The project aims to increase school spirit and participation.
