THE AXE & BEAN - $5,000
Madeleine Waters- Greenwood High School
The grant will be used as seed funding to start a student run coffee shop located at the high school that will serve staff and students a couple of times a day.

THE BIG DILL PICKLEBALL GRANT - $440.72
Becki Habig- Westwood Elementary
Funds will be used to purchase the equipment to set up and play pickleball at the school.

LISTENING, COLLABORATING AND PROBLEM SOLVING - $624.97
Emily House- Westwood Elementary
Funds will be used to purchase building wide visuals, books and lessons for all grades to assist wiht the Whole Body Listening, Voice Levels, and Kelso's Choice resources used in monthly core value lessons and weekly kindergarten lessons.

ENHANCING CLASSROOM EFFICIENCY WITH AUTOMATED PROBLEM AND WORKSHEET GENERATION - $1,480
Lanna Smith, Amy Kreimer, Amy Farrell, & Kara Applegate- Greenwood High School
Funds will be used to purchase software to help customize math lessons and enhance teacher efficiency.

WE'RE MAKING WAVES- $1,481.82
Tracy Guy & Kailee Vest- Greenwood Middle School
Funds will be used to acquire a variety of supplies that allow students to observe, create, and investigate electromagnetic and mechanical waves through a multitude of engaging activities.

HEARING IT FROM HAWASS HIMSELF! - $198
Kelly Siegert & Kailee Vest- Greenwood Middle School
Funds will be used for two social studies teachers at GMS to attend a lecture by the most well known Egyptian archaeologist and Egyptologist of current time, then staff will be able to incorporate the knowledge learned during their lecures, notes, and projects related to Egyptian history.

FINDING MY GROOVE: PD AS A JAZZ EDUCATOR - $600
Joel Matthews- Greenwood High & Middle School
Joel will attend a convention for jazz musicians in Chicago with part of the funds and will use the balance to bring a clinician into his jazz band classroom. Originally, the funds were to be used for Joel to attend a class with the Jacobs School of Music but the class was canceled.

ARCHERY FOR ALL- $359.40
Victoria Klingsmith- Southwest Elementary
Funds will be used to purchase the materials so all grades at SW can participate in archery; currently limited to the older students but now the faux bows can be used to get the younger grades involved.

SO- SEW - $992.16
Mindi Ward & Julie Bowling - Greenwood High School
The funds will go to the purchase of sewing machines for the fashion and textiles class; currently limited to mostly hand sewn projects due to a lack of limited supplies.

BUILDING A FOUNDATION OF LITERACY: BUILDING A KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM LIBRARY - $630
Kathleen Mitchell- Isom Elementary
The funds will be used to build a permanent, self sustaining classroom library that the students can used indpendently and daily

MINDFULNESS MOMENTS- $1,174.45
Andi Campbell - Greenwood High School
The funds will be used to support the Bring Change to Mind Mondays in the freshman biology classes. The program integrates mindfullness exercises, stress reducing activities and open discussions on mental health. Materials will be purchased to use for these activities and exercises.

BUILDING OUTSIDE THE BOX- $2,482.62

The funds will be used to purchase ChompSaw sets to share throughout the district. After an initial introduction, students will get to practice and plan activities, then move onto developing the skills needed to use the devices. The ChompSaw will allow creativity and new projects using cardboard and creating 3D sculptures and projects.
