The Greenwood Education Foundation is proud to support Greenwood Community High School students who are interested in participating in the Youth Leadership Academy through Leadership Johnson County. This program provides juniors and seniors with a unique opportunity to build leadership skills, learn more about their community, and collaborate with other students across Johnson County while working on projects that make a positive local impact.
To help make this valuable experience more accessible, the Greenwood Education Foundation offers financial assistance to help offset the cost of tuition. Our goal is to remove financial barriers and encourage more Greenwood students to take part in this leadership opportunity.
Applications for the Youth Leadership Academy open at the beginning of each year and are due in March. This opportunity is available to any junior or senior currently enrolled at Greenwood Community High School. Once the application process is complete and students are accepted into the program, GEF will divide the funds allocated for this initiative equally among participating GHS students. There is no separate application required to receive financial assistance from the Greenwood Education Foundation.
