OUR RENEWABLE RESOURCE- $5,000
Derek Fischer, Allen Figy, & Melissa Burger - Greenwood High School
Project will result in the purchase of solar panels/battery kit for the newly built greenhouse and to create an outdoor class space by building movable benches and picnic tables and installing a removable sunshade for the warm months. The project will be used for the construction trades classes, diet therapy, and AP Env Science by creating hands on learning and to show students the real life impact of sustainable energy sources.

SAILING THROUGH SOCIAL STUDIES - $584.67
Ashley Freije & Will Foote - Westwood Elementary
Funds will be used to purchase copies of the game Battleship as well as storage containers. The games will be used to assist with lessons on longitute and latitude and coordinates on maps.

CLEM'S KINDNESS CREW - $950.00
Megan Clem - Southwest Elementary
This project expands a current SEL initiative into a student led, school wide kindness and emotional wellness program. The vision is to create opportunities for students to practice social and emotional skills while positively impacting the school community. Students will get to act as leaders, and will plan and promote kindness, emotional awareness and positive relationships. The program currently has begun with the Popcorn Parlor and students in the school who are recognized for acts of kindness get popcorn on Fridays. The funds will be used to expand the program to a Kindness Cart and Kindness Wall in the school.

LA BIBLIOTECA/BIBLIOTHEQUE - $1,445.67
Nina Gondola - Greenwood High School
The project will create three personal libraries for each of the Spanish classrooms and a set of The Little Prince books in French for the French 3 classes.

EXPANDING THE SCIENCE OF MINDFULNESS - $2,560.95
Andi Campbell - Greenwood High School
Expansion of the Bring Change to Mind Mondays that started in 2024 to expand the program to the whole biology department/staff. There will be expansion of mindfullness exercises, relection activitites, and stress management strategies.

CELLS ALIVE! - $2,180.71
Mariah Sirkin & Ashley Tschopp - Greenwood Middle School
Funds will be used to purchase prepared slides and microscope for a closer look at the things we cannot see with the human eye. The first part of the lessons will include prepared slides and then move to slides with living cells in the second part.

PRINTED WITH CARE - $1,723.21
Tracy Guy & Kailee Vest - Greenwood Middle School
Philanthropic project that will give students the opportunity to design and choose 3d printed toys and tools that will be donated to GMS clubs, and community organizations.

REGULATE TO EDUCATE - $1,933.30
Regan Berry & Jessica Witherington - $Greenwood Middle School
The project will be used to create a sensory room in the school's self contained program.

SO- SEW - $992.16
Mindi Ward & Julie Bowling - Greenwood High School
The funds will go to the purchase of sewing machines for the fashion and textiles class; currently limited to mostly hand sewn projects due to a lack of limited supplies.
