Teachers on the Town is GEF’s newest Teacher Appreciation Week celebration — and it’s for ALL Greenwood Community Schools staff!
Join us on Friday, May 8 for a relaxed evening in Old Town Greenwood designed just for you. Starting at 4:00 p.m., check in at Draft Day Pub to pick up your event wristband, which unlocks exclusive one-night-only Educator Specials at participating Old Town businesses. Enjoy food and beverage features, shopping discounts, and special offers throughout the evening as you explore downtown with coworkers, spouses and friends.
As an added thank you, staff members enrolled in GEF payroll deduction will receive one Educator Special free of charge — our way of giving back to those who support Greenwood students all year long.
Expect a fun, come-and-go atmosphere with live music, raffle giveaways, additional specials, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the incredible people who make Greenwood schools great. Whether you work in the classroom, office, cafeteria, transportation, maintenance, or administration — this night is for YOU.

Educator Specials!
Your evening begins at the check-in booth located at Draft Day Pub, starting at 4:00 p.m. All Greenwood Community Schools staff should stop by when they arrive in Old Town to check in and pick up their official event wristband.
Your wristband is your key to the celebration! It identifies you as a Greenwood staff member and unlocks exclusive one-night-only Educator Specials offered by participating Old Town businesses — a small thank you from the community for everything you do for Greenwood students each day.
Bonus Thank You:
Staff members enrolled in GEF’s payroll deduction program will also receive a Golden Ticket at check-in. This ticket can be redeemed for one free Educator Special at the participating location of your choice. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting the Greenwood Education Foundation and helping make student programs possible year-round.

Raffle Basket Giveaways
No celebration is complete without a little extra fun! The Greenwood Education Foundation has put together a collection of exciting raffle baskets featuring items and experiences generously contributed by local businesses and community partners.
All Greenwood Community Schools staff who check in will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win. As an added thank you, staff members who participate in GEF’s payroll deduction program will receive five raffle tickets, increasing their chances to take home one of the prizes.
